17 x 7 rim offset question :o

Ok, I know the offset topic pops up all the time, but I searched and didnt find an exact answer to my question. I am lowered on H&R sports and will soon have KYB AGX's. I am also about to buy 17 x 7 inch rims and the offset is either +45 or +50. Will these work or no?
Again, I apologize for bringing up more offset questions but I didnt find my exact answer. Thank you!

stock is +55 i read. Does that mean that the stock rims will stick out more than the ones I want to buy?

You will be fine with either +45 or +50 offset for the 7" wheel.

The stock is +55, but is only a 6.5" wheel. The lower the offset, the more the wheel will stick out.

if you have a choice i'd say go for the 17x7 45 because that would sit more flush with the fenders and look neater

Either will work but don't try to put extremely wide tires on them.
I run 17x7 with +44mm offset and 215/40/17 tires and it's fine (meaning no rubbing).
I used to run a 17x7.5 rim with 215/40/17 and there was no rubbing either.
If you're SLAMMED you also might run into problems. I myself have about a 2 finger gap all around.

I have a 2 finger gap too, maybe 1.5 in the front. We'll see I guess.

if you're going to get a rim thats 7 inches wide, you should stick with the 50mm offset. If you want the centerline of the wheel to maintain a relatively stock position, then 50mm is closer than 45.
