16x7, +40 offset

Hello everyone, I am about to order some rota slipstreams for my 4th gen. Yesterday I talked to the place where I will be purchasing it from and the guy there said that they don't have +45 offset, but he said that they have +40 and he stated that I won't have any problems. I plan to be lowered about 2in all around. Does anyone know if I will rub with these wheels?
