Are you going to get with lillbill for a wiretucking lesson?
the funny thing is everyone made it seem like that crap i screwed around with was important. when now i dont even have it under the hood. I figured id read my helms a little and now my car is successfully and completely egr and emissions free. no charcoal canister or anything. so suck it
Well made a little bit more progress. Re did the brake lines. You can see one of the new ones in the first pic
I kinda had a gap in my thought process and put the prop valve right where i need to put the clutch master cylinder to. None of the brake lines are kinked. Just bent and curved to fit in the space. This is going to be one tight space once the clutch master cylinder is installed lol. ****
how hard was it removing the ABS? what parts did you need? i want to do mine too
its not that hard. all you really need is a non abs prop valve from like a 93 integra. they are like 30$ off ebay. and maybe some brake line. then just pull everything off relating to the abs. not to bad

Well now im trouble shooting. Here's whats going on
I filled the car with coolant, oil, tranny fluid and clutch fluid. Attempted to crank the car and the starter clicked. I threw in my moms battery which is a day old. There was no click now but still no crank. But with the newer battery the fuel pump is pumping b/c i saw gas leak out of the main line on the fuel rail, wasnt tight enough. So i tighten it but still no crank. The automatic ecu hasn't been converted and the manual ecu from a 98 that came with the transmission still wont let the car crank. Any ideas?
I don't know about what could be the problem... does the new ECU allow the original key to be used?
But I do have two other questions I'd like to know when you have some time (as I'm sure this problem will eat you up for the next couple days).
Why did you choose the driver's side to put your battery on? (and is that speaker wire I see for the battery?)
Where did you learn that the 93 Integra proportioning valve could be used to delete the ABS? I had researched this mildly a long time ago and all I came up with was you would basically have to swap over the whole 92-95 Prelude Non-ABS Brake System if you wanted to officially delete the ABS. Perhaps you have found the cheaper and still effective alternative?
well the battery line is from a member on pp.com. its 0 gauge. it may be speaker wire but im not sure. i had to buy some more wire and bought normal house wire. its really stiff and hard to work with. i didnt realize there were different kind of wires lol
on the abs thing. i just stumbled across that basically just undo the abs system and all you need is a non abs prop valve. the prop valve from that yr integra is what i remember reading. fits right onto our fittings.
well today i tried grounding the starter relay as someone told me to do. the car still didnt start. im wondering if it isn't the clutch pedal. the gauge wire i used on it is quiet larger than the wire on the starter relay it had to connect to. im wondering if my soldering job wasn't just messy and maybe the wires crossed over and touch both prongs. im gonna take that stuff apart and try it again
edit: i found out the automatic ecu shouldnt be the reason. it should start with it, but it will throw a cel and the idling will be a little bouncy
