Vegas: 92 Si JDM H22A

Hi everyone, my name is Brian and I bought my 92 Si in late November in 2008. I did not know a thing about ludes or hondas at the time but began learning quickly. My last car had been totaled, and decided to look for a lude because I wanted one since I was a kid. Anyway I bought it with 248,000 on the car and 41,000 on the motor. The car came with lots of goodies already on it. It already had a JDM H22 installed about 6 months before I bought it, brand new KYB struts & Eibach springs put on only a week before I bought it, buddy club condenser, NGK plugs & wires, Walbro 255, AEM V2 SRI, Viper Alarm, and a new Seibon CF hood as well. I paid $4600 for it.

Unfortunately all these things were put on the car before fixing things that had to be fixed. As soon as I got it I replaced broken front upper control arms that could have fallen off at any moment. On my first burn out my axle boot ripped because soon to find out that the stock motor mounts were completely loose and ripped. I immediately upgraded to Innovative urethane mounts. The car shook pretty bad every time I hit the brakes because they were shot. I replaced everything with Brembo blanks and Hawk pads. The car came with the infamous bouncing idle which I eventual figured out. The Power Steering pump was also spitting power steering fluid all over my hood. Replacing all the the gaskets fixed that. There were also a lot of clunking in the suspension due to 200,000+ mile bushings. I'm currently half way through installing a Hyper-Flex master bushing set from Energy Suspension. I am amazed at the difference so far. No more clunking and everything is rock solid. The car came with all stock lights that had been night shaded. I changed all light fixtures excluding the headlights, and upgraded to super white LEDs all around. I also converted every light in the cabin to blue LEDs. This Friday I will be taking it to the quarter mile to see what time I can get. I'm now saving up for new wheels and a nice exhaust. But that will probably take a while. I was thinking about some gold 5zigens and a Greddy GT Spec catback. A nice one piece set of headlights would be nice too. Finally I want to slap on front and rear lips and get a new paintjob. Please let me know what you think of my project so far! Thanks!

What side of town are you on? Looks like these pics were taken out on S Charleston near Red Rock?

Thanks for all the comments!

95greenlude: Most of them were taken in Henderson, the night shots were taken in Southern Highlands. That's were I live. Let me know if you wanna meet up and talk lude. I'm going to Midnight Mayhem this Friday, if you wanna roll down there together. Oh, and every bulb that I replaced I buy from autolumination. You should see them in person.

Did you just replace the regular bulbs with led bulbs for the gauges? There's some dark spots and the speedometer needle is hard to see.
