no way
1g is not enough for the parts..maybe a 93 vtec trans and ecu.
but labor alone is like 1500.

i smell BS.

4 grand is a little steep but some states dont have allot of shops that do this...thus he is paying for what he can find..

The shop is doin the labor for 500bux

4grand was for a lot of stuff:
1)Tranny Swap
2)Zex Kit with Purge
3)MSD Digital 6 with coil
4)ACT Clutch
5)Fidanza Flywheel
6)Fuel Pressure Regulator, Fuel Rail, Fuel Filter
7)Pullys
8)Cam Gears
9)P72 ECU with wiring harness
10)Hondata with tuning
11)DC Short Shift Adapter

ok i have an automatic prelude 97 also and i hate it. i get beat off the line all the time by any car plus its just flat out slow! i was thinking about getting a tranny swap. i just have a question. when u get it done would it be the same as if u went and bought a manual tranny prelude? i know the value of the car goes to ****s but i dont care im not planning on selling it. thanks

There is a shop in atlanta ga called mahdavi motorsports that will do a manual swap for 1-1300

there is a shop in maryland that just opened (cant remember the name off the top of my head) that i JUST talked to that will do the conversion in my 92si for 1000

call BS all you want.....you get reamed ill find the deals lol
i aint trying to start **** but hey i do know what im talking about and i wouldnt post randomn **** just to talk out of my ass

Oh yea forgot lol for 4 grand thats a good price. i thought you were just gettin the conversion.
i want ZEX in my lude but im gettin a fully built h22a put in ready for a turbo and would rather have the turbo than the ZEX...who knows maybe later wheni can afford it lol
