Hey Keith. As soon as I replied to Ray's post, your post showed up lol. All the old timers in NJ should get together before it snows.

Nice to see your beast almost complete!!! :bighthumb: We definitely should have an "Old Timers Prelude-Less Meet" to see what's going on w/everyone
and their rides!!!

I think a set of deep dish Nismo wheels in black or gray would serve your ride nicely.

I would love to get some deep dish Nismo rims but they are out of my price range. I may get them after I get my tax return in Feb along with some suspension.

What mods are you planning on this beast, given its potential and availability of parts.
Just do some searching around on kit car-ing.

Thanks . It's at least $3000 for a nice paintjob so I am keeping it. Originally I was going to paint it black but to my surprise most people seem to like the color. I've spent too much on parts alone to buy or do anything else at the moment.

Well at least it's up and running. There are still minor things to be taken care of....like finding small parts here and there. I finally find a good source for misc. parts in Australia . The pic qualities aren't great but I am happy about the car. Hopefully I'll be able to get more pics during the day later this week.

Young is it weird driving on the wrong side of teh car? I'm convinced I'd have to drive when nobody was on the road in fear of doing something wrong and smashing into something/someone. BTW awesome project.

It's a bit odd at first but you get used to it fairly quickly on the road. Biggest concern is when parking it or putting it in the garage since your perspective is off being on the right side. I am hoping I can get the car finished before first snow fall lol.

Yeah, always weird parking on the wrong side in a 1 way street. Should be easier since you are on the same side as the gutter, but somehow it isn't.

I would have thought that overtaking would have been the biggest issue. You would have to get way onto the wrong side before you could see if it was clear. By the same token it should be easier to see if there are parked cars on the inside.

Do LHD Japanese cars generally have the indicator on the correct side (opposite to gears)? Here cars from LHD countries generally have indicators on the wrong side which is always annoying.

I think driving it should be fine since my mindset is still as a left hand side driver. I am not sure what you mean by indicator lights on the wrong side. Are you referring to the turn signal switch being on the right side of the steering wheel for right hand drive cars? It makes sense if you figure you have to signal while downshifting or upshifting. If your hand is on the shifter and you have to turn, the signal would have to be on the left side for a left hand side drive car and right side for right hand side drive car. Otherwise it would be a pain to signal while turning. I have to admit, I have turned on the wipers trying to signal.
