Hum...one I wish my car was that clean. Two, im not sure about the camera looks different for some reason. I have a Sony Cyber shot...its not bad 4megpix which seems to be standard today. My camera seems to make the black look totally different than yours.

For example see how the lines of the car are not smooth or I dont know how to say it they seem wavey.

What are the specs of the camera?

Meh, looks ok. The details seem a bit muddy.

Sell it and get Canon G2... (This is scaled down 50% in PS and saved as JPEG @ 65% quality):

obrigado

The bluriness is from the aperture setting, i had to use a large aperture setting to allow for the macro shot of the headlight reflector housing. As you know, a larger aperture means a more shallow depth of field. Any camera will do this. (This is also the reasdonb the top is blurry)

It's 4.0 mp.

I think you can get them for around 400-500 now.

obrigado

yeah dude yours and mine price and specs differences are day and night...

i think this will do for now, cause i am not a photography person

give me a orignal pic from the camera itself, not the photshop resynthesizing and shallowing the image to a different scale.

dude, the blurriness isn't anything with the photoshop resizing. I have the canon s10 right now, and its great for what i got it for. My next camera will be a G2 or one of comparable features. Nikon's cameras look tempting.

S10 sample:

(as a link since my bandwidth is low nowadays )

its 2.1 megapixel, used to cost about 300; i got it for 200 2 years back. if you check ebay, you should be able to find them for 150 or so (good deal since it usually comes with the battery charger, which costs an additional 100bux)

aliasing is when you get those "stairstep-like lines that should be smooth" in the second pic, the bottom of your window is heavily aliased. antialiasing is a way of smoothing those out.

I heard about a new digicam coming out (in a time magazine before xmas with the greatest inventionsof the year) with normal pictures there can be more than one color in the same spot, with digital camera every pixel needs to be a single color so you need more pixels for better color quality ..

aparrently this one camera can take in 3megapixel what a 7megapixel would be standards ... its prolly over 2 times as much as well :|

oh yeah .. i guess to answer your question, the larger pics definately look really good. Is the color matching done nicely compared to what you actually see ? looks good to me ... besides the aliasing in the smaller photos i can't say theres anything wrong there. very nice clean car ..
