I would have preferred the pics without the flash as well, but it was already too dark out. I tried it without the flash a number of times but the pics were not coming out right at all. I really was just trying to get the reflection of the sky, anyway, and the reflection came out exactly as it looked in person, so I'm happy with the pics. I do need to get a tripod. That is the next thing I am buying for the camera.
Yes I am going for the sleeper look. I don't want it to look on the outside the way it looks under the hood. I don't want to attract any more attention than a lude already gets. And I knew someone would say
Quote:
omg that car is high, lower that
It will cost me way too much money to set the suspension up how I want to do it. It is not worth the money, IMO. I've already spent too much on her as it is.
Here is one without the flash, taken just seconds before the first pic at the top of the thread. You guys decide which looks better.
I'm using a Sony DSC-P9. Most of the "settings" on it are automatic. For example, I have no manual control over the aperture or the shutter speed, which I am sure would have helped.

Coming soon.... Not that it is all that, though. It is very utilitarian under the hood, no flashy colors. Purely functional, which is beauty itself IMHO.
