Wow!

Cannot wait to see the Prelude finished. It's gonna be sick! Hey, I was wondering where you found the Brembo calipers and how you did the LED taillights? And again, very nice, clean work. PM me with a reply.

Sorry for the sluggish updates folks... I'll try to keep up with demand.

A couple of pics of the chassis with a real camera...

Seibon CF hood... ready to be painted.

Custom made CF rear spoiler... It'll be partially painted later in a same way as the front hood.

Meanwhile, the engine is slowly coming together also. We measured the engine block, the crankshaft and rods for deformation and wear since these won't be new and the results were just stunning. All the measurments are well better than those allowed by Honda for new parts. I also decided to replace the oem rod bolts with ARP's for some extra protection on the bottom end.

Engine block and engine head... ready & waiting.

I'll be using Accord TypeR's pistons since they're better than those used in any other H22 engine. The difference is clearly seen in the picture below... However, some modifications were neccessary for ATR's pistons to fit on euroR rods. The engine block will also be TypeR's H22A7 since I had a low milage specimen on hand.

Crankshaft after polishing...

That's it for now... Next week will be interesting, I'm sure. I'll try to keep you updated so stay tuned.

Looking beautiful as expected. Makes me sad to not own a lude anymore, but proud of the legacy.

Cannot WAIT to see the finished product.

Too bad all the effort you put into this and how well thought out it is you still dont have "The Best Prelude in the World"

I'll call yours the nicest though since its obvious its damn close where some of the others aren't even half way there.

The hood is being painted like mine... the car is now white like mine... he's got the crankshaft balanced and blueprinted like mine... he has a triple gauge pod in the center dash like mine... his steering wheel is on the same side as mine... oh my God! He's becoming the next Best Prelude in the World!

P.S. 4 wheel steering is something I won't ever get, so his car very well could top mine!

i'm extremely curious to see how you're going to split up your custom made rear spoiler to partially paint it to match the hood. i'm very excited to see how it'll come out. i'm sure whatever you do will will top anything i've ever seen!!!
