WOW! This thread honestly wants to make me keep my car and turn it into a project car like you've done. There's a lot of work needed but at the end it's going to be all good. I just wish I had the time, money, and knowledge the do the same.

If I only had the time to do this kind of stuff to my 5th gen also. Watching this guys build up makes me want to keep mine as well....Can't wait to see the next installment of this saga....
I signed up on this website just to comment on this thread.
All i can saw is... WOW. I don't think i've seen but MAYBE two or three other guys in my entire life go into such thorough detail building, modifying, and further greatening a car. Your attention to detail = impeccable. Your taste and vision = amazing. It's unbelievable to see such an incredible build come to life before our eyes!
Keep up the insane work- you are going to have the most badass Prelude on planet earth when you get done, IMO...
Thanks for the support guys!
I'll do my best not to let you down.
I haven't posted since there wasn't much happening with the car for the last month.
But it's looking good right now... Right now, the car is being painted and there will be many interesting updates soon.
Here are a couple of pics of the chassis just before it was sprayed white in the interior.
I'll go and check out the progress today and hopefully take some new pics.

Oh man... I wish these updates would be more frequent, but reality can be cruel sometimes. There really wasn't much happening with the car since my last post... that's until last week when I had enough of excuses and demanded that something gets done instead of empty promises.
First, all the joints were filled with the rubber filler as it was originally before the welding was done.
The interior of the chassis should have been painted more than a month ago but it was actually done this week. Here's the result...
The paint used in the interior is just plain white as it doesn't really matter and it would be just a waste of money to paint it with anything else.
The added steel bar reinforcment is clearly seen here...
The whole chassis was prepped for paint with great care. I was told that this is as good as it can get. I replied with "Perfect will be just fine, thank you."
The car should get painted next week but the painter called me today and told me to better come at once... WTF?! He didn't want to tell me what's the problem but he sounded worried. I tried to keep a brave face as I drove to the paintshop... but really expected the worse.
When I got there, the whole staff of about 10 people were waiting for me... WTF is going on here guys? Someone said something about a problem with the welds on the chassis and we went to take a look... This is what I saw.
Sorry for the crappy pics... I made them with my phone since I came totally unprepared.
The paint itself is simply stunning... and the paintjob is just immaculate. I have never seen a car painted this good before. Hands down to the crew, really...
Next week the car goes to my mechanic to get the engine and drivetrain installed. If all goes well I should have it at home in a week or so. It'll be then all up to me... And I hope the updates will get more frequent from that point onwards. Keep your fingers crossed...
