You guys remember about a month ago , I blew my stock H22a1 . It was in the shop for a new transplant. I'm not keeping the lude much longer , going to go luxury route...

H22A is type S is it not? dont the usdm engines have a 1 or a 4 at the end of it?

Yeah 4th gen USDM are H22a1 and 5th gens are H22a4. Type S comes with the red valve cover.... mine did not.

Any JDM motor comes with H22A , only way to tell if its type s or not is valve cover, or if you know serial #s of all type s engines maybe...
