For a long time I agreed about the AP1 from bumper vs the AP2 but I feel like the AP2 looks less dated. I'm doing springs for a 1" drop real soon and eventually an AP2 from lip and Veilside V1 rear deck spoiler.
I havent had any issues with loosing the rear end, you just need to be concious of how the car is going to react and I've been fine. The power is pretty linear once you're into VTEC so it acts like super vtec Lol. It's fun.
Dropped the car Saturday on Tanabe GF210 springs, 0.8" drop front and rear. Springs are only slightly firmer then stock and probably the most minimal drop I could do. NJ roads and coming from the lude with HA's I was doing this 99% for asthetics.
I lowered it, its only slightly noticeable but you can tell, like I said 0.8" which was about as much as I willing to go with the roads in the NY/NJ area.

289 at the wheels, every now and again I'll get the urge to do some upgrades to get it over the 300 hump but then I realize its a waste of money.

OEM, figured with a modest drop and low miles it would be worth giving it a shot. Some have made it 100k with drop springs on OEM suspension, others 30-40k either way I'll be fine for a few years. If I ever decide to cruise down to Philly for a cheesesteak I'll let you know in case you want to see how they feel for yourself.

I have heard the same thing, should be fine. Sounds good, I have been trying to go to s2ki meet for while, never got around to it yet.
It was not bad at all, Ray and I did it in under 4 hours from start to clean up. The rears are a little tricky to get back in but outside of that its a total cake walk. I found it easier then the Prelude.
Here's a nice thread, Rays electric impact gun helped in taking things apart which could add time to the job if you're not going that route.
