Just wanted to say on you step 2 or whatever, if youd ever bother to read thr directions to any waxing or cash wash product it tells you the surface should be cool (and most will also mention out of direct sunlight)

The other thing, id personally ditch the bra. I think they look tacky on a prelude, and even with a car thats kept most of the time in doors the time spent outside in the sun over enough years will cause a mismatch in color where the sun fades the rest of the hoods paint.

Last but not least, your paint quality statement isnt quite right for Hondas. For example, the newer CRVs (and Accord iirc) have a pretty well know paint issue (hit up a crv forum and youll see people talking about it)

(oh and the title and the way you wrote everything sure makes you sound like a pompus ass.)

Couldnt agree more! Why would your ruin the clean lines of the Prelude with side moldings? I had my car for NINE years and had a single door ding when it was sold and that could've been removed with paintless dent repair which would've cost less then those awful moldings.
