sfljdmbb6 all motor bb6 build

so i never did one of these on here and ive been buying up parts like crazy and my lude is finally coming along so here goes

i got this prelude in like november of 08. i tried to sell it several times but it stuck around so i recently decided to build it and keep it forever.

so my new performance setup once complete will consist of:
darton sleeved block
h beam rods
CP 11.5:1 high compression pistons
kaizenspeed balance shaft delete
race port and polished head
skunk2 flat valves, springs, retainers
supertech valve guides
skunk2 pro2 cams with titanium gears
skunk2 intake manifold with 70mm throttle body
ID1000 injectors (for e85)
SMSP replica header
direct port nitrous
hondata s300
auto to manual tranny swap
syncrotech carbon syncro set
those are the basics

as for the rest of the car i dont have a set plan yet but i have an idea of what i wanna do. my focus right now is on getting this thing moving again.

anyways this is how i got it.

this is how it looked for a long time

and then i bought some stuff for it.

drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic brake pads all around

oem fogs

power folding mirrors

canadian cluster

seibon eyelids and carbon flush mount hood pin kit

eagle h-beam rods, skunk2 internals, manifold, cams and gears

5 speed tranny, axles, half shaft

there are more parts im sure but this is all i have pics of
and so the tear down begins!

so long auto tranny

motor almost out

motor out! now off to the machine shop!

messy engine bay

cleaned up

almost ready for a respray

CP 11.5:1 compression pistons

block sleeved with darton MID sleeves

head has been ported and polished and skunk2 internals installed

will update as i purchase more stuff and/or do more work to it. lmk what u guys think.
