I know it has been a little while since I've done an update but the engine is getting built this weekend! Yay!

I also picked up a JTC short shifter and cooling plate. I know they have been kind of off again, on again, and their communication sucks, but they sent me most of what I ordered.

Only thing it didn't come with is the little packet of grease and it was also (I assume) supposed to come with installation instructions but I see there is a how-to out there.

So I guess as soon as I can figure out what kind of grease I am supposed to be using I can work on that too!

Finally working on getting the engine built. The guy who is helping me and whose shop I am using is out of town this weekend and won't be back until a week after Memorial Day, so this is as far as she'll get for a couple weeks, but I will post more when I have it...

Got the block on the stand...

Bearings and crank getting installed...

Journals...

Pistons...

Got the head on...

Had to stop at this point because there is an o-ring that needs replaced on the oil control orifice assembly. Got that ordered, it'll be here in about a week. Not sure why I didn't already have that ordered...

...and I got more goodies in the mail today... Here is my custom ribbed idler pulley from ASP Racing. It's very high quality, glad I was able to track this thing down...

I should have an update on the engine here in another couple of weeks!
