Just have to say this site has to be the best prelude site there is on the net!
Brilliant - some really interesting ludes on this and it has inspired me to do a few extra mods with your help and suggestions!

Now my car - Prelude 2.2 Vti Motegi Red Top

mods as follows:

Fidanza 8lb fly wheel
Racing stage 1 clutch
Top fuel carbon fibre induction kit
New red honda badges
OBX racing leads
OBX racing iriduim plugs
OBX racing (red) silicone hoses
more random silicone hoses
OBX racing oil catch tank
OBX racing short shifter
Type-r gear knob
Rare EM racing C pillar brace
K sport coilovers (for track use only - yeah right)
Carbon fibre bonnet dampers
New chrome bezels
JDM fog lights
Prelude badge taken off back bumper
Mugen kit

Defi style oil pressure gauge - not fitted yet - not sure if i will
Defi style RPM gauge - not fitted yet - not sure if i will

Like you, I've also fitted a Fidanza 8lb flywheel too.

Your car is a Motegi but hasn't got the Motegi boot lid badge or 17" Motegi alloy wheels?

I was always told that it was a motegi prelude though to solve this does anyone know how i find out for sure?

If not - dont really mind - dont get me wrong i will be disappointed though my car is sitting bout 209 bhp last time it was on the rolling road bout a year ago!

another question for u's all - will a decat pipe make my car sound much louder with the standard backbox on! many thanks!!

What sets a Motegi apart from a non Motegi Prelude is the body kit, lowered suspension, 17" alloy wheels and Motegi boot lid bagde. All of these parts were optional extras on standard Preludes but were supplied as standard on the Motegi.

My 2.2VTi (H22A8 like you) is a non-Motegi, however it was supplied with the optional 17" alloy wheels fitted. Since buying the car in 2005, I've fitted the body kit and also replaced the standard suspension with the optional lowered sports suspension, so my car is basically a (non-official) Motegi but minus the boot lid badge.

For more info on my car, go to - My Car, however there have been a few changes to the car recently (including clutch and flywheel) which haven't been added there yet.

Ok i know this thread is old but i have 2 questions, what is that in the very bottom picture? and i have a 8lb fidanza flywheel that i havent installed yet, i just sold a stage 3 clutch and am getting ready to buy a stage 2 exedy, how do u like the feel of the 8lb fly?? Thanks in advance
