well, i got a lot of crap about not going to last saturday's southern cali meet......but my reason was that i was waiting for my front lip, stock sides/rear to get painted. what i didn't say was that my friend and i painted them in his garage
yup yup, i was sanding away saturday night.....this is wat we did
a week before the meet, i recieved my OEM front lip in the mail in electron blue! and since i own a prelude base, the sides and rear were that ghetto black color. so i decided to paint everything. my friend, mike (he's on the boards too, but does'nt post since PO.com started charging) said that his dad has all the equip to paint cars (compressor's, spray guns etc etc). i went to an auto paint shop and got 1 pint of crystal blue metallic paint. so we sanded everything down, primered, then started painting last friday (the day before the meet) it got too cold and the paint started dripping...so we painted all throughout saturday (which was why i couldn't make it to the meet
, but it was wooooorth it
) we let it dry over night, and put on the clear coat sunday afternoon. sunday night we installed everything , and the paint matched PERFECTLY
