That's so scary, and yes, it is a miracle you're alive. I used to work at a body shop, and that's one of the worst cars I've ever seen in my life. The worst was a CRX that some idiot drove head on into a huge tree at 60+ mph. He lived but killed one of his passengers (yes someone was stuffed in the back and is living with brain damage). Glad you're okay...

I am selling a lot of my extra Prelude parts after the crash. Please have a look at my classifieds and see if there's anything you want.

Glad to know you came out of it alright, Ken. Sorry that your Prelude is no more.

So is there some way that the accident could NOT be the SUV driver's fault? Unless he could prove there was some mechanical fault or someone pushed him off the road, I don't see how he could avoid responsibility.

Regardless, you are most fortunate to have such minor injuries from such an ugly accident.

If it was a mechanical fault it should still be his fault because he was driving an unsafe car. He would be able to sue his mechanic though if the failure was due to poor installation or some other form or recklessness.

Glad your ok.

Hah, I wish. I probably won't get very much $$ for pain and suffering, regardless of how retarded this SUV driver is.

I will barely get enough for the Prelude, which I am guestimating to be in the $12k range. I will also get reimbursed for all my mods though.

I am thinking my next car will be an IS300 with a 2jzgte swap.

glad to hear that youre okie. that was a serious hit....the suv driver must have been going damned fast to barrel thru so much and still take you out like that. Its a great thing that no one was seriously injured. someone was DEFFINATELY watching over you.

you should at least be able to cover your medical expensise with a bunch to spare. when we got hit from behind while we werent moving by a car travelling at approx 50mph, we got the car taken care of...medical expenses and 7k each to boot. my advice is get a good laywer....hell take 30% but youll still get a pretty penny. ...i hope to god that kid had insurance....otherwise his parents will be held responsible.
