Hey, it's been a while since I posted, but I finally got around to editing some newer photos. Last november my motor developed an odd knock near cyl#4 @ 2000-4000rpm during coasting only. The car was put away to hibernate over winter. In the spring a fresh jdm H22A was swapped in along with all new seals, pulley's, gaskets, etc. The motor has 220+ psi compression in every cyl. and consumes only about 1/2 quart of oil between changes when driven hard . Never pulled the old motor apart to find out whats wrong, but with the valve cover and oil pan off everything seemed to check out ok visually. Well here are some pictures of the car, and im proud to say that ive put on nearly 15000 miles since the swap and everything seems good, car pulls harder than ever, even though it ran 14.8 in the 1/4 with the old motor. Still haven't been to the track since the swap.
The more I see this silver color, the more I like it. It seems to be the perfect light color for the higher areas of the body and the shaded effect around the contours of the car really gives it depth.
Kudos on the cleanliness and all OEM lip kit, I hope you post more pictures soon!
