nice car, why did you go with the fmic, i thought it wasn't as efficient on WRX's?

I could tell a huge difference with it.

The heat-soak was crazy with TMIC.. the turbo was right there, and the intercooler heated up bigtime.

There is an extra 200-400 rpm's of lag because of all the piping, but it hits so hard, and the charge pipes are always nice and cool.

i didn't realize there was a heatsoak issue with the tmic, i assumed there would be a heatsoak issue with the long piping. besides being more efficient, the fmic does look badass. nice monster

This coulda been prevented by just cooling the engine and keeping your tmic.

water spray, new piping or even some new hoses.

but to each their own nice ride.
