pics of my first wreck

It's all better now after months of incredibly painful and annoying electrical work, but this is what it looked like. The good news is that my headlights were getting fogged up pretty bad and I got new ones, and someone had recently backed up into me and left a pretty horrific crack in my front bumper, so that was all taken care of
My idiot friend decided to stop in the middle of the road just to mess with me. Fiberglass/Urethane Honda vs. Steel 64 Dodge... I didn't even stand a chance. It looks a lot worse than it really was because the bottom of his bumper was at the top of my hood. It just kinda folded it up. Enjoy, but don't ever do this

Damn. Same thing happened to me too, only the car that stopped abruptly was a Type S Corolla...piece of s@$! was fine but did the same thing to me, just folded up my hood and bent up that tie bar in the front. Surprisingly my bumper was only scraped and scratched and it just needed new paint. How much did it cost to fix? Mine was supposed to run $3k but I had my uncle fix it for $1200 and it's all good now except for a ****ty paint job. Did you have to get laser aligned or anything like that?

Learning how to drive correctly:

Step 1: Don't follow too closely.

I find it hard to believe a 64 dodge truck with drum brakes out braked a modern sports coupe with 4 wheel discs and ABS....

He stopped a couple feet around a corner, right before a speed bump, it's kind of a weird parking lot. I was accelerating around the corner and he was just at the point before the speed bump where most people start braking. By the time I realized he was stopped instead of slowing down for the bump, I didn't have enough room to stop. The dumb **** also passed me in a no-passing zone through a school zone just to screw with me. It was just a really unfortunate chain of events. I think it cost 4k to fix. Insurance was quite a help. Our stupid resource officer also tried to give me a ticket, although he was inside when the wreck actually occurred. Long story short it didn't go through so our insurance stayed almost the same, so that was still cool. I still officially have 0 at-fault accidents, so that's good.
