Pic request: painted cf hood

but not painted on the sides, in the middle. im wondering if i can fix my hood and paint the middle (where the crack is) and leave the sides in carbon fiber. thanks.

it wouldn't look so bad if the black CF stripe continued down into the bumper

from the front view.... notice how the CF stops right at the headlight?
it leaves a line between CF and paint.
if the CF continued and wrapped around the grill making the grill appear to be part of the hood, it would look better.

otherwise, it just look like a broken up checker board theme

I just got my hood back today from the shop but havent installed it yet cause of the rain. But i got the sides painted, it looks nice on the sides instead of the middle IMO.

that's pretty neat, but awkward IMO, painting sides is definitely the way to go, it 'flows' better.
