Not a Prelude, but what else is new?

Stats:

1991 Fairlady Z 2+2 Twin Turbo

Got it earlier this year - it was in **** shape. It's been in the shop / getting tinkered with for at least 4 months now. It's still nowhere near done but it's road-worthy enough that I've plated it.

Kakimoto Racing Cat-back
JWT Popcharger Intake
dual Blitz BOV's
Tanabe Race Springs
Nismo Euro-Spec Massive oil-cooler
XTD Stage III clutch (going away soon, I didn't install it)
Enkei WDM 18x8.5 +35F and 18x9.5 +42R wheels
Kumho Ecsta MX 245/40 F 275/35 R tyres
CZP Short-shifter with solid bushings
Powertrix HICAS elimination kit
Energy Suspension poly bushings
All Royal Purple / Redline fluids
EGR deleted, AIR system deleted
Ghetto Greddy front bumper, previous owner didn't love it much

Parts in my room not installed:

Tein Type FLEX coilovers
Sparco Roadster II seats + harnesses

Future: Redo brakes, paint, replace mouldings around all glass, replace Greddy front, install FMIC, replace BOV's to proper location, mild stereo

Pics:

I kind of fell in love with the car again this week. It may be heavy and may not be a 12 sec car but it's got enough potential with bolt-ons for me and is so much fun to drive with the T-tops off. Beautiful cruising car.

I've always loved the 300ZX, but i stayed away from them since i've heard horror stories of maintenance due to the location of the twin turbos and how everything is crammed in there.

EDIT: Although i just realized yours is RHD. The stories i speak of are from LHD (US Ver.) 300ZX's

The RHD ones are equally as painful to own.

I've always had a soft spot for the Z32, great looking car. But aren't they heavy as?

That looks really clean. My buddy just picked one up. Have you experience any problems with the gas cap holding pressure?
