Nice day for pics with the S

I bought a new P&S (PowerShot S100 IS) to replace my aging S50 and figured it was a good day to take some pics. Went up to Harriman today and found a nice ice fall, the only problem was I didnt want to park opposite of traffic so you get to see my messed up fender.

Good spot except the Sun wasnt helping me

Some others closer to home from this morning

I also realize my clutch totally blows if I'm hitting near redline shifts.

Looks good! I didn't know your s2k was turbo! What kind of numbers are you putting down? Is that a kit or a custom setup?

You might want to remove the clutch delay valve if haven't already, that would make the clutch burn worse at high rpm. If you are on the OE pressure plate, that is probably part of the issue as well. Alot of guys with the CT S/C run an OEM disc with an ACT pressure plate with good results.

Nice pics! Car looks good

It's the Comptech SC kit with AC (aftercooler), I made 280whp on a dynojet at 7800 rpms corrected.

It's easy to get in over your head but as long as you dont drive like a moron and dont want to become another statistic of wrecking your S2k its not bad.

Yeah I'm going to see if the CDV was removed today, the previous owner said he had done it but the feel is the same as if it was there. He also had the OEM plugs in at stock gap with the SC so its highly possible it was never removed. If that's not the case the setup you mentioned with an AP1 flywheel is exactly whats going to get swapped in.

This doesnt go all the way to redline because the original owner was running factory plugs and it started to misfire after 7k. Next dyno day will be better for sure.

Did you catch the Vette I have posted from that same dyno day? Methanol injected Vortech making 700-800hp at the wheels. F#@king this was moving gravel about 20 feet away when it revved up.

I bought it with the SC but I've done a few things, but honestly I'm trying to stay very tame. Voodoo shift knob, XM and Ipod adapters, and tint. I still want to and will do springs for a mild drop and thats about all thats going to get done. I spent some cash on stuff like plugs, dyno-ing, car cover etc... but I dont consider that modding
