So i found this car on craigslist. hasnt run in over a year, wont start. purchased it for $1,900, towed it home, rewired the aftermarket ignition/coil, annnddd it fired right up
H22A Swap 80k and 4 Wheel Steering
Body is in great shape
Si wheels
i added the hid's i'm getting 5000k's i dont like blue
towing it home
kinda dirty
oooh yesss $1,900
my other lude. f22 kinda ugly, for sale
yep he said is has the limited slip tranny where do i find the tranny stamp? any idea how much the car could sell for? how much is the engine/trans worth?
right now i have the interior completely stripped and i'm literally cleaning every piece with a tooth brush
The barcode on the tranny^
clean parts
JDM where it counts
after i posted this i looked up that bar code on the tranny and it looks like its not limited slip... boooo but it is the 217hp engine from a bb6 cuz according to Wikipedia the only h22a that came with the red top was the s-spec engine
Update, got most of the interior back in, got the stereo hooked up minus the sub. it came with some really nice retro speakers! they sound great though a/d/s in the front and Boston Acoustics in the rear. im just putting my jl w3 10 in the trunk. i love this car. i would die for this car.
No, red top H22a was only in the 5th gen, it's an OBD2 motor, it's very much possible that your valve cover is just swapped. The real way to know is to look at the front of the head, if it's stamped P13 then its just a 200hp H22a with a swapped valve cover. Pretty awesome though that you found a 4ws 4g with a H22a swap.

Yep.
OP---OH my fvcking god. You just picked up a 220 hp swapped LSD'd 4th gen for 1900 dollars.....I just sheit my entire body out of itself.
I would skip on the fancy light bulbs since the money could be spent better elsewhere especially since you might eventually want to get some JDM 1 piece headlights seeing how they look better and the bulbs aren't interchangeable.
