New wheels and new dents!

16" Work Equips
225/45/16 Falken FK-452

and then...

Got hit 5 times by a dump truck while on I-45 near UH. Any guesses as to how much it'll cost to fix it? His company's insurance is taking care of it. I want to go and get some estimates before the insurance appraiser/adjuster comes next week.

Basically, he didn't see me and kept on speeding up until I sped up faster for him to see someone was in front of him. Even then he didn't stop. I had to follow him and repeatedly honk my horn to get his attention and to pull over.

No one else plowed into him because this happened while we were still moving. That's why there isn't that much visible damage.

Fillup...you'd basically be looking at new trunk, new bumper, new wing.
Lets see:
Bumper:181.10
Trunk:310.69
Wing: No Clue.
Paint might run you like um 500 maybe sometimes a lil more expensive. You might also looking into getting new tailights if they arent taht damaged. Oh and buy the parts online from Honda parts, buy Honda auto parts online Accord Civic CR-V Odyssey Pilot Passport Prelude S2000 Honda new cars suvs vans San Leandro Honda CA or Majestic Honda - The Internet's #1 Honda Automotive Parts Store. You might as well install the parts by yourself and send it to paint. They charge you an arm and leg for fitting the parts. That's what Im doing for the fender and the bumper.

Oh and I envy you...I wanted to buy those.

Ooo...wait I see that insurance is gonna do it. Tell them to use OEM parts only. Just tell them I want OEM parts and that's final.

+1000000000

Most likely they will try to force you to use aftermarket replacements

Thats crazy he was just driving and didnt see you in front of him. That seems so surreal.

^ there was a story recently about a guy in a wheelchair who got stuck in front of a semi-truck who didn't know he was there. He went for a ride on the highway with the truck too

I imagine when he was right on your bumper he couldn't see you, but obviously you didn't just end up there. He had to have been neglecting to look at the road for a bit of time for you to end up in that blind spot. Some people amaze me :shakes head:

Wheels look great. Damage, not so. That's bull****, like BBY said, that driver must've not been paying attention for a long time to do that.

Good luck with the repairs mate.

GOOD thing for FILLUP they dont' make the prelude rear bumper aftermarket and the trunk aftermarket. Maybe he can get them to get a REAL MUGEN wing....

Your bumper looks better than mine right now. I think would should take the dump truck drivers license away.

Why does everyone hit EBP ludes? We are bright and blue can't miss seeing us.

Almost makes me want to sell the car. It's been a horrible semester for this car. Alternator had to be replaced, my car died on a busy feeder near one of the busiest streets in houston. Ran over a rock and had to replace the oil pan. And now this. Condensation in taillights are just adding insult to injury.

Those gaskets for the taillights are cheap. Don't sell the car!
