Got hit 5 times by a dump truck while on I-45 near UH. Any guesses as to how much it'll cost to fix it? His company's insurance is taking care of it. I want to go and get some estimates before the insurance appraiser/adjuster comes next week.
Basically, he didn't see me and kept on speeding up until I sped up faster for him to see someone was in front of him. Even then he didn't stop. I had to follow him and repeatedly honk my horn to get his attention and to pull over.
No one else plowed into him because this happened while we were still moving. That's why there isn't that much visible damage.
^ there was a story recently about a guy in a wheelchair who got stuck in front of a semi-truck who didn't know he was there. He went for a ride on the highway with the truck too
I imagine when he was right on your bumper he couldn't see you, but obviously you didn't just end up there. He had to have been neglecting to look at the road for a bit of time for you to end up in that blind spot. Some people amaze me :shakes head:
Most likely they will try to force you to use aftermarket replacements
Thats crazy he was just driving and didnt see you in front of him. That seems so surreal.
GOOD thing for FILLUP they dont' make the prelude rear bumper aftermarket and the trunk aftermarket. Maybe he can get them to get a REAL MUGEN wing....
messed up the honda symbol?!? well there goes the vtech!!!
i'd only accept OEM parts also.
the price for the body parts won't be too much, but the big 'H' is gonna kill your wallet.. might wanna hit up a junkyard for that puppy!
Almost makes me want to sell the car. It's been a horrible semester for this car. Alternator had to be replaced, my car died on a busy feeder near one of the busiest streets in houston. Ran over a rock and had to replace the oil pan. And now this. Condensation in taillights are just adding insult to injury.

Those gaskets for the taillights are cheap. Don't sell the car!
