New to PO, but not new to the Honda scene

I couldn't find an introduction section, so moderators feel free to move my post if need be

I guess I can introduce myself first, my name is Heather and I own a '94 Prelude S, manual. I LOVE this car, it's the one I can't bring myself to get rid of ever, no matter how many cars we own lol. I've had this car for about 2 years, and even with her 200k on the odo, she's never given me even one problem.

My husband and I have been in the Honda scene for years, but have fallen out in the last few years due to business keeping us too busy. We also have a retired show car, our '97 del Sol...Danny (hubby) won many a car show with it back in the day. Now it's just my weekend toy, I'm not complaining . We also dabble in trucks, we have a huge lifted Ford Dually diesel that will put most trucks (and cars for that matter) to shame oddly enough. Then there's our Lexus SC430, hard top convertible, very fun car! And to haul our babies around (we breed and raise Rottweilers) we bought a Nissan Armada SUV.

So as you can see, we have a wide variety of vehicles, one to fit every mood

Here are a few pics of our Hondas, sadly I don't have newer ones of my lude...this is the day I got her. Then some of the del Sol:

Thanks she's not as clean as I'd like, but we're getting ready to slap a new paint job along with new rims on her, and swap in an H22, so that should help!

Welcome LudeChick. I'm glad new 'luders are showing up. The rash of people selling or parting out their 'ludes has been depressing.

For free...the wheels rock, but I think they clash with the "look" of a 4th gen. But I'm sure you'll replace them with something classy that complements the beautiful curves of a 4th gen. ...right?

Heh, just kidding. Enjoy your new 'lude and we can't wait to see what you and your husband do to it. Just looking at the Del Sol tells me there's a lot of work in store for your 'lude.

Sadly, not this time around. She's getting painted, the H22, and rims. That's it. We've already been there done that with the del sol, and this one I'd rather keep as clean and natural as possible. We've got our truck and everything else to play with and dump unnatural amounts of money into lol.

Sounds good to me. Stock can be just as aesthetically pleasing as fully decked out. Your car looks great as is, anyway.

My money sink is a 5th gen that the previous owners all beat the crap out of. I'm slowly getting her looking good again. One of these days I'll show her off here in Member's Rides section...once I'm not embarrassed with the condition of the car.

Show her off now! Who cares if she's not exactly a "beauty queen", all that matters is she's in good hands now, and a work in progress I'm still debating on whether I want to just repaint her black (none of the icky "rainbow" shine in it now) or the OEM midnight blue color (sorry, no idea what the real paint name is). So we'll see!
