would that heatshield block off a lot of the air?

the Heatshield does not wrap all the way around..

for example, if it was a clock it would cover about up to 7:00 with metal and the other side is free flowing up from the bottom..

and it is also about 1/2 inch away from the sides of the filter, and the front facing the headlights has no metal... so its kinda like a deep roof on the battery side. I paid too much.. someone smart in metal shop could make one easily.

On the butt dyno or in my head.. it felt like a little bit stronger pull after instal.
