I feel like I have put it off long enough and I should probably make a thread in here. Car was originally a 93 Si, factory color was milano red but for some reason had been painted this red pearl that looked terrible and faded badly.
Here it is early in it's life, yes it came with 18's...
Finally gave it some extra power...
Also did the Hytech Tri-Y rep and a custom exhaust w/HKS Hi Power Ti muffler.
Finally got some new wheels, this pic was too big I felt to directly host
This came next along with a 68mm Omni power TB and S300
Recently though I finally decided it was time to paint since the roof started rusting along the windshield, the people who last put that windshield in were obviously butchers. So with working at the dealer I used my nice discount to buy all this...
Windshield
Windshield molding
Windshield clips
Roof moldings
Clips for roof moldings
Door moldings
Carpet
Rear glass seal
Rear glass lower trim
Front lip (I never had one)
Tail light gaskets
New front bumper
New sunroof panel
Sunroof panel seal
Then I stripped the car bare, no interior, even body grommets pulled. Body shop guy did an amazing job with the rust, cut the metal out and welding new metal in. You'd never know it was ever there, just sucks I don't have any before pics but he may since I noticed him snapping pics before spraying the other day.
Here is how it sits now, with the main body, trunk, rear wing(not on), side mirrors(totally disassembled and not on) and door handles(not on) painted, cleared and buffed. He texted me these while I was at work today.
Pretty much it got a full color change, everything that could be removed was. Car also has your usual things like JDM 1 piece black headlights, JDM side markers, CC delete, EGR delete, antenna shaved(the right way with welding),JDM window visors and EL gauge conversion.
Next Friday when I'm off, since he wont be there tomorrow cause it's Sunday I should be able to get some more pics of the finished outer panels as well as start putting it back together. Gonna try to get some professional pics taken of the finished product.
Thanks for looking.

I've seen this prelude in person right before it went off to paint. Aesthetically it was rough, mechanically it was glorious. The paint and body work look really good, combined with that great engine/tranny setup you have....makes me want a 4th gen lol. Good job man, I'll be anxious to see how this turns out. Btw, our Honda van needs some work... Wanna do some more side work?
Possibly, been working a lot lately, like near open to close every day then days off on my own car, today I'm going to put the interior back in and drive it home. I'll hit you up Grant when I have the finished product, still need to find someone who has a nice camera to take some good pics of it.

I like it a lot, most people say that my exhaust sounds great and I don't even have a cat, just 1 resonator and a muffler. The piping is 2.5" though the muffler shop expanded the inlet on the muffler since Japan uses all metric and it was a tad smaller than 2.5".
About to go get the car now as a matter of fact, just gonna put 1 seat, the belt and dash back in so I can drive it home and put the rest of the interior back in.

There's a bunch that the guy who painted it took and yes it is sitting kind of high, having no interior will do that. I still gotta try to get some good ones taken when I get a chance.

They're pretty close in color but I wanted this because Milano Red can look pink in some lights where this will look kinda red orange in like dim light.

Clean and simple. Gotta love it, it looks really good. It needed quite a bit of work before it was ready for paint, what did the final bill pan out to be? Got any future plans for this bad boy?
Not really, just need to fix the carpet, might have to send it back since it's guaranteed to fit and it kinda isn't on the pass side. The A/C compressor is started to go, need a new steering wheel, looking at the Mugen Racing Type III and still on the hunt for a new trunk interior.
If anything I'll probably try out a thicker rear sway bar and I'm waiting for my brakes to fade so I can justify upgrading them to a bigger OEM set up.
It was a cash paid deal $3500

Well I meant to tell him to shave the holes for the Prelude emblem and keep the H emblems but I like totally forgot to. Doesn't bother me though, bought all new emblems and I'm being more unique since EVERYONE now a days shaves badges.
I need to get some more pics once I find someone that has a decent camera since in these it's 4x4'ing from having no interior whatsoever so the suspension isn't settled all the way.
Antenna is shaved though btw, the right way, metal welded over.
