well its been a long time since i've posted up in here. and since i ordered and got anouther H23 swapped into my car, i though i would paint my extra valvecover.
Not bad Jared. Did you remember to mask off the black before you did the tan? Cuz that would have made it look 10x better than where it looks like the colors are blending too much.

no, i didnt mask off the black, i really didnt feel like going that much into detail....though i might go back with my stencil and add some black in places.
but i'm fininshed now.....i'm going to paint the nuts and washers too so it all matches, i also painted the oil fill cap.

Interesting project, never would have thought you could DIY a camo pattern. I went with the VHT wrinkle red and highly recommend it, it's extremely durable. You might want a a low gloss clear coat to project it from oil spills, scratches, dirt, etc.
