I really don't think it's possible... There is perhaps 2-3mm reserve with my design but not enough for 60mm gauges. The problem is that there is no space left under the center vent. I hardly squeezed mine in there.
Basically, you just cut 3 oval holes in the vent piece and shape them so that the gauge tube sits in the way you want it. You then glue the 3 tubes to the vents and cut them so that the gauges sit in there. Here's a close up, so you can have a better idea what I'm talking about...
anyway we or just me could ship you my peice and your friend could do that carbon wrap?

Well...while I was checking out your girlfriend's backside (gotta be honest, right?), I noticed something on the wheels. Is that little crome 'disk' the valve stem? ...and if so, what is it? I'd like to know. It looks really clean!

Yes, those are valve stems. They come with an adapter so you can check the tire pressure or inflate the tire if needed. They're not too expensive (about $40) and they really do look nice.
The tires are 215/40/17...
As for all the flattering comments... Thanks guys!
I like this one especially... LOL

The hood spoiler does help a lot with high speeds. Not only does it stabilize the bonnet, but it improves airflow and wipers also work better. Here's what it says about it in the original honda accessories catalog: Boonet Hood Spoiler - Improves dynamics of airflow around windscreen, A-pillars and wipers, whlist adding style and flair
The SPFC sticker means: Slovenian Prelude Fan Club... We also have a forum, but it's in Slovene language so I didn't advertise it here. But if anyone wants to check it out or even maybe post some pictures of his/her ride, you're more than welcome to do so.
The second thread from the top, named "Soba fovsije" is the place to post some pics. It means the envy room.
wow! i haven't had a chance to check out your thread in awhile. nice looking lady there. very nice legs and butt I really like the led tail lights, gauge panel, temp gauge, calipers, rims, bumper, hood bonnet, back up sensors, wing, 4ws......
so, few questions:
on your hood bonnet, is that carbon fiber?
you said something about incorporating the rear fog into the tail lights. how do you plan on doing that. i would like to do something like that to mine.
are the sides honda? or custom?
as everyone has already said.........BEAUTIFUL LUDE!
Solid, plenty of Mugen fans, yeah... But who isn't a Mugen fan anyway.
Stoff, only I'm using 10mm spacers. He isn't... You can hardly notice it on the pictures. However, I'm planning to put 15mm on the rear wheels.
thepreludedude, that is a CF sticker on the hood spoiler. It comes that way from Honda, so I made a new one when I had it repainted. It looks much better with it, but probably only as long as I don't have any real CF near it. If ever get a CF hood, then I'll have to make the spoiler out of CF also or it will look like crap.
As for the rear fogs... I'll just h3ck the bulb socket in the inside portion of the tails to accept a 20W bulb and wire it to the foglight cable.
The sides are fully custom... I wanted a clean look and I think they turned out pretty nice.
Prelude1897, the color code is B84-P Super Marine Blue.
eolife22, if you want the digital temp gauge look at the previous posts. Someone found a retailer in the US and it's also much cheaper then where I got it.
@all: again, thanks for all the comments!

I have been working on my 4th gen all summer long. Next Tuesday/Wednsday/Thursday I am fixing rust, shaving, bondoing, adding some lips and painting it Super Marine Blue....I can't wait -_-
Your lude inspired me this summer to do some work and make my car nice, so thanks! Killer 5th gen man!
Could you tell me whether you had to cut area's behind the dash where you have your gauges? I looked at mine and directly behind it is the inner dash and it seems that the backs of the gauges would hit it. Preventing the panel from going back on.
What did you use to cut the panel without marring it up too badly? I'm thinking about using a Dremel on mine and just using a template to allow some universal 52mm tubes to lay inside.
Also you mentioned in an earlier post that you could get more of the carbon fiber tubes. Let us know a price range, as your firend could make some spare cash. Alot of people want a setup like this. We even had a group buy for a custom ABS gauge pod that would fit like oem, but it fell through...
I'm Sorry Been looking at your car for a while and i must say your car is the sex. I just noticed something are those led taillights on your car?? If so what'd you do buy a board or did them individually.
Holy Sh*t... I just saw this thread and officially want my Prelude back... Err actually I want your Prelude...
It is by far the best looking one I have ever seen. I love the custom mini-mugen spoiler... gauge cluster... front bumper... rear bumper... hood spoiler... wheels... errr... the whole thing...
Ohh yea... that parking garage is awesome for pics. The little splashes of yellow with the columns and grating in the windows really beautiful! Congratulations, it's art.
Looks like a beauty! I do like the blonde+Prelude pics the best though.
