A lot more pics for everyone to see. I painted the underside of the hood today. Came out pretty nicely I think.

more pics. I'm very aware of the orange peal affect that the hood has. These pics were taken fresh out of the paint booth, plus it's the underside of the hood, so it's not like it's going to be seen all the time

Just color sand the hood and it will be fine.

The car is looking good!

I know, but then I have to put compound on it, clean that off, then buff the glaze on it which I don't wanna do since it may mess up the buffing pad from hitting all the little corners and what not which is why I'm not going to sand the underside of the hood or trunk. It's not like anyone is really going to see it while I'm driving around.

Here are more pics for everyone to see. These are pics of the car fresh out of the booth, so it still needs to be wet sanded and buffed. There are a few pics toward the bottom of a little section that has already been wet sanded and buffed to give you an idea of how the whole car will look.

This is about what it will look like after I wet sand and buff it. Once the whole car is complete, the sun is going to really bring out all the metalic look in the paint.

You've come so far in a relatively short space of time with this mate. Looks terrific! Can't wait to see it finished. Not long now...

More pics of the progress today. Me and a few people wet sanded the whole car yesturday and today I had a few guys buff it, but they're going to go back over it again tomorrow. Plus I had to fix a little spot on the driverside door...

Im really hoping you paint match that valve cover. Oooooh that would look awesome.

Congrats on all your hard work, it's looking REALLY good. If I ever did a custom paint job, it would be Bayside Blue (from the R34) or this blue you've got going here.

Woot Woot, I brought my car back home today. Still not done, but almost there. Here are some pics

A teaser pic of my valve cover. I still need to wet sand it, spray the pearl coat on it, then spray the clear on it.

Looking good man. Curious what you're doing with that vale cover. It sort of looks like some sort of Candy cane stripes. I still think that a paint matched valve cover (the blue you're doing) would look sick.

Keep us updated. Progress looks awesome so far! I don't see skirts or a kit in those pics, are you doing an OEM kit on it? or what's happening with it in that way?
