Sup everyone, for awhile, I was always wanting to do some kind of project car and since I'm not too much into going fast anymore since I used to get alot of tickets back in the day, I figured I'd go for looks, and what better thing to do than a RHD conversion. Well, I had boughten a BB6 shell with full interior, but just no motor, tranny, axels, ect. ect. for only $1k about 3-4 months ago, and I finally got around to ordering a RHD front clip. Well, I figured since I'm doing the conversion, and I haven't seen anyone else in my area with one, I'd just like to share the whole process. It's going to take a little while to do the conversion since I'm still going to school, but I would like to try and have it up and running around summer time hopefully. Anyhow, here are pics of what's been going on so far with it
Nice man. I want to eventually do the same thing. Wish I had the time/funds to do it. Good luck w/ the project and looking forward to the progress pictures.
Hey if you dont mind me asking but by any chance do you have an extra OEM bumper?
Sorry I don't, but I can get you an aftermarket bumper for pretty cheap

I've been finding alot of great deals, so the project might be a little cheaper than I thought. I'm guessing around $5k-$6k after tax, title, registration, materials, ect. ect. I still need to get the car itself in my name

Less than I would have thought, but still a lot of jack...

Hey Brian, FYI, there is a RHD white Skyline around North Dallas/Addison/Tollway area, that I spot every now and then. Its a little asian guy driving it around.
Doesnt look like you have done anything to the car, since I last saw it.
All the best with the conversion, keep us posted.

I meant I haven't seen a RHD Prelude in our area...I've seen a couple of RHD Skylines though out in Dallas
I never understood the allure of RHD As Scottman has pointed out 293823928 times, you have to A. learn to drive stick with your left hand (easier for a left handed person, I am supposing) and B. lean over at the drive through. For what? So everyone can go "ZOMG LOOK HE IS DRIVING ON TEH WRONG SIDE OF TEH CAR"
There probably are some in the US, but I don't know of any

Well it's almost like saying, "why spend alot of money on a Prelude to make it fast when you could've easily spent about the same amount and boughten a Cobra or SS?" In doing a RHD conversion, it's just being unique and knowing that I built something with my own 2 hands instead of spending alot of money and having one shipped over. Plus, when I roll up to a stop light with a car full of girls next to me, I'll just roll down my window and lets the panty draws get thrown through my window
