Dropped some stuff in storage earlier today, going to take the lude up to North Carolina for 2 months of training. It's a bit dusty, FINALLY getting it dropped this Saturday before the HT meet in Richardson on Sunday. I'm going to buy the parts for a custom exhaust while i'm out of town and get that done in late June, early July. I still haven't gotten around to removing the amber from this set of tails.

Well, my car got broken into in North Carolina, the guy went in through the sun roof during a storm and stole my screen. I got the sun roof fixed, newer screen is on the way. I really missed having a garage for those few months. Good to be back in TX.

Gotten a few goodies since I last updated this:
Optional door sills, optional trunk mat, apex'i N1 and a carbon fiber hood.
The exhaust is just for ****s and giggles, it was a steal on craigslist, but it's grown on me.

I still plan on keeping her when I buy a new car, I might even put that off until late 2012 barring catastrophic failure.

Here is a pic from a meetup back in April, I'm not sure who to credit the photo to

Dang you bought a new trans just cause the old one wouldn't go into reverse? Such an easy fix.

Want to tell me the easy fix? I still have it sitting in my garage. I actually had a list of parts to buy at one point, but if I recall correctly the lack of time, space and specialty tools kept me from trying it myself.

It's just easy to work on, there could be a couple of things causing it, make sure the change lever on the trans isn't being bound up in any way. Remove the case and check the fork for reverse, it's more than likely bent. Reverse only has a couple of parts, just the gear, idler gear and fork, no synchronizer.

I recently learned how to rebuild manual transmissions and it was a lot easier than I thought it would be, if you have the helms manual in front of you then it's hard to mess up. Making sure you remember exactly what order you removed things so that you can put it back right is the main thing about it.

Don't really need any specialty tools, just basic stuff, a set of snap ring pliers to release the case from the bearing on the main shaft. Also make sure that when removing the detent balls, springs, washers and bolts to keep the organized and put them back where they were.

Awesome, thanks minilogoguy18, i'll probably take on repairing it myself sometime in the future.

I went through some wheels, not sure which ones I like best. Probably the s2k wheels, just wish they were 17". I had the drag dr-19's on for 2-3 weeks, I got them off craigslist for dirt cheap. I ended up not liking the lip on black, on a black car. I found some Work Emotion CR KAI's, not in bronze like I wanted but that is what I have on the car now.

I probably won't be doing anything with the car in the near future, i'm close to getting a montego blue e92 as my daily driver. Eventually i'll start having some fun with the prelude again. Since I wont be my daily I can do anything to it at that point

They took it off, I later found it under the seat for whatever reason, I guess they dropped it.

The good news, I just picked up an 08' Montego Blue 335i 6MT coupe and oh my god I love it.

The bad news, unfortunately I won't be keeping the lude I'm going to think about it before I sell it for sure but I only have room for 1 car in the garage and I don't like the idea of having the lude just sitting outside while i'm at work and asleep.

So, I take back what I said a few months ago. I'm going to keep the prelude. It has been sitting way more than it is used to, I finally took it to clean off the month or so of dirt that built up. I sold the WORK's and some of the audio items that might attract thieves. You can't really see in the recent pic but it is back on the black AP1 wheels. It needs some power steering related parts, axles and some other small maintenance related items.

I've put all my focus into the 335 since I got it, adding the following: Cobb stage 1 tune, AFE dual cone intake, Active Autowerke charge pipe and blow off valve, lux angel eye led bulbs, matte black grills, paint matched reflectors, oem front aero lip, m3 spoiler, M sport perforated knob and e-brake and the newer LCI model LED tail lights. I'm addicted, no other way to put it.
