My new rims (5th gen) - 56k death

After a long wait, finally got my Kei Racing RSS 18" rims on.
They are covered with Avon ZZ-3 225/40/18 tyres. Loving the additional grip.

They do rub a bit on the wheel arches if the car is really loaded down but with 1 or 2 people in, its not an issue.
If rubbing becomes an issue, whats the best solution ? Spacers or change the suspension on the rear ?

Would like to know what you guys think of the look. I intend in the future to paint the calipers in blue (maybe red).

I dont think I can.

Like I said, under weight, the back wheels already rub on the wheel-arches.
Imagine with it lowered ! The tyres would last a week.

keep in mind aftermarket suspension is also stiffer so compression under load would be less than stock

Might be something to consider then. But also here the roads can be a little bad sometimes and I have a ramp to go up to get home.
Im awaiting now the Wings West lip kit which will probably lower the car to the maximum I can go without damaging the front lip on the ramp.

But do you like the rims ?

The offset looks wrong. That's probably why it rubs and you're not even dropped. What your offset?

The rim specs say 5x114 et45.

The car only rubs when I had 2 people in and 5 wheels in the back (my old ones and a spare). Thats a lot of weight really.
then it would rub on the wheelarch when going over a bump.

Now with just me or 2 people, theres no rubbing.
If the car was lowered, the outer edge of the tyre would just touch the innder part of the wheel arch.

I dont have cases where I load the car up so I guess Im ok.
