My new 97 Prelude

Hello everyone, I've just joined this forum but I have to say everyone's cars are so impressive! I've been on lexus forums for years now, and very rarely do you find sc's that are even comparably as clean as some of the ludes on here! It's crazy!

Anyways, I'm going to pick up my new 97 Prelude on Monday and I'm so excited to start fixing this car up! Here are the first pics I saw of the car when it was posted online.

The car has HIDs, JDM fogs, some crappy intake, an AEM pulley and some 225/45/17 wheels and tires.

Just from looking around at others cars and doing some research of my own here's my to-do list.

1. Fix the JDM fogs and their horrible wiring job.
2. Clean the engine compartment, paint valve cover and ugly white intake.
3. Find some replacement door panels and potentially some leather seats.
4. Gotta get a set of RSX Type S wheels, they just look way too damn good on ludes.

Other than that I'm clueless, any suggestions or words of encouragement? :P

Also, I plan on keeping the pictures coming so check back for updates!

ATI and OEM are the only good crank pulleys, all others can harm the engine. 225 width tires are perfect for Prelude's IMO, I'm on 225/45R16 in my 4g.

Thanks for the welcomes!

I just got the car a few hours ago and am loving it! There's a few random little things that I need to fix but nothing major.

The only thing that worries me is the center plastic piece that holds the CD player up seems to have completely broken at the bolt points. Is this common?

Also, do 225s clear on the rear? I can't seem to find any wear on them, but it just seems way too damn close to the panel.

Getting the rsx wheels tomorrow, found a full set with brand new tires on them for 200$, came off a wrecked rsx I believe. Their specs are like 205/50/16 i believe, anyone ever seen these on a lude before? Do they look as good as the 17s?

Also, pics coming very soon!
