I'm new to the Prelude scene, and posted something very similar on Absolute Prelude (first Prelude site I found). Thought I'd join this awesome site as well, and kinda just show what I had before my Prelude. I'm sure most people around here have had another car(s) before they fell in love with their Prelude.
It started off with an 95 Integra LS about 3 years ago. I won't post pictures to save myself from the embarassment, heh heh. As I started learning more and more about Hondas, and loving the current platform, I made a switch and purchased a 99 Integra GSR, bone stock. I love my GSR, and did all the minor bolt-ons, as well as nearly 1500 in suspension upgrades and minor looks, with a great stereo.
Here are a few pics of that GSR (or click the link for all of them):

But eventually the time came for me to get rid of her. Mostly because the color, etc. I believe she attracted too much unwanted attention and got tired of vandalisms and being revved at by every ricer at every light. That and she started to give me issues that I didn't feel like fixing, heh. So then my buddy let me test drive his 99 Prelude SH. She felt good. A little heavier, but definately more solid!! Much better feeling car. Quieter, smoother, and the amenities such as the stereo and just overall looks made me fall in love.
I bought a 2000 Prelude in pearl white, however it was a SS auto. I liked the car anyhow... but after about 3 months or so, I couldn't stand it anymore (I really don't see how you all that drive SS autos can drive everyday!). I couldn't stand not having a manual tranny.
So I buckled again and traded her in for an 01 silver 5 speed. MUCH BETTER!!! While the white Prelude was flawless, perfect paint, no chips, no scratches, no swirls, no smells... the silver one does have a couple nicks, dings and chips around the car. But I guess it's give and take, and I can always have them fixed later. Fixing some flaws in the paint is MUCH cheaper than a tranny swap!
I'm not going to post pics, because she is all stock, and I'm pretty sure everyone here knows what a stock 5th gen silver Prelude looks like. But I love it! I miss the GSR sometimes, and now I have about a 9,000 loan on my head... but whatever, I'm happy that I've got an all new project, completely stock, and ready for me to play with.
Anyhow, enjoy the pics of the GSR, and look for pictures of the Prelude in the spring.
