Just got my 1st Prelude - its a 1998 Eucalyptus Green base model, 5-speed BONE STOCK car. One owner, garage kept, and came with every single service + maintenence record since the car was purchased in 1998...and I was even given the original invoice, too! I have always loved the 5th gens., and am happier then ever to own one. Here is the online ad (and pics) where I found the car:

The car really was everything the ad said it was. SUPER clean, pristine condition. Here are some pics I took of it as soon as I got home:
The first thing I wanted to do was add a black carpet. I saw a picture online of another member who made this change and thought it looked MUCH better than the tan. Since the base of the seats, the door sills, and bottoms of the door panels are all black, the black carpet seems to "fit in" with the car so much better. I really think Honda should have done this from the factory:
I just ordered a muffler, resonator, and high flow cat for my exhaust system. I will be running 2.5" piping to connect it all. Most likely it will be fed from a Vibrant header.
I also ordered a K&N filter and BPi flow stack. Have not yet ordered my CAI yet, though, because I was unsure of sizes - read that 3" is what I should go with, but wasn't sure if it would bolt right up to my car...have to go measure my throttle body.
Finally some new pics: front lip and twin-loop muffler. I really wasn't happy with the twin-loop. The muffler shop was supposed to install it "upside-down" so that the can tucked under the bumper, but they didn't...so now it hangs and looks bad imo. On top of that, it is much louder than I expected. I can't decide if I want to go back to stock, for fork out the $$ for something like the RS*R.
Since you live in FL like me don't get a CAI, pretty easy to suck water up and kill the engine since it likes to rain quite a bit at certain times of the year here.

I've had a CAI for some time now and it has yet to be a problem. Stock intakes are all cold-air setups anyway - so as long as the engine bay isnt cut and the intake isn't run into the wheel well, or down low right behind the front bumper, I don't see how it could really hurt.
Nice lude bro. What was the seller on ebay that you bought that p1 lip from?
Kris
Man, I wish I could tell you. It's been so long since I bought the lip that I do not remember who the seller was, nor does the listing even show up in my Ebay history anymore. Sorry I can't help, and thanks for the compliment!
