Figured I would finally create me a member's ride thread.
When I bought it in 2004, nonlowered, 17 in rims, and really loud exhaust.
My picture taking skill werent that great either...
Next, got rid of the 17s, put the stock sawblades back on, and picked up some authentic jdm fogs...
Then, lowered on Function and Form coilovers, changed to a Thermal R&D exhaust, and retrofits. I'll never go back to halogen lights again.
After that, jdm Type R recaros, matching red stitched shift boot, and silver painted gauge rings
Engine bay getting some treatment as well...Shaved and wrinkle red valve cover, Mugen oil cap, Spoon strut bar, Spoon resevoir socks, and 5 sets of Mugen bolts for fenders and radiator stays.
And, the car in its mostly current state. After 2+ years of having the lip kit, I had the oppurtunity to get it paint matched and installed. Alog with shaving the rear bumper, and sidemarkers. And got JDM side markers installed.
And some pics at a local car show...
Updates hopefully to come as I get some rims and other stuff, and get some new pics
Looks great! Nice work. One of the cleanest engine bays I've seen. I hope to get mine like that some day.

Thanks!
I'm hoping to do a mild wire tuck on it, and pick up a SSR, Hytech, Bisimoto, or SMSP header. Nothing crazy tho.

Thanks man!
Yes, I had taken the foglights off the car because one of the brackets got busted up a lil bit. But I managed to find another bracket. They are now back on the car
very nice to see someone making good decisions with what parts to put on their car.
to you.

Thanks to ya'll both. Its been a long, fun road. I have always done a ton of reading, research, and looking around before buying any of the parts that go on the car.

Thanks man! Your car is definantly clean too. I wish I had LED tails like you do
I guess I'll put up some pics of the other ride. Even though I dont have as many of it as I do of the lude.
06 Yamaha R6
And in its current form, mostly stock, but its got gold Gilles rear sets, and Woodcraft frame sliders.
that car is soo nice
i'm pickin up some sidemarkers this weekend
did you use a template to cut or just measured it out??
This thread has the deminsions for the whole you need to cut. As far as where to mount them on the fender, if you have a fourth gen, you can use the templates on that page as well.
If you have a 5th gen, there is a thread on preludepower.com, you will just have to search and find it.

That's exactly how I feel about these pictures, that color is superb!
Thanks man! Your car is pretty killer too! I have read your entire buildup thread. Very inspiring!
I was planning on getting some rims over the holidays...but I got backed into this past weekend, and they didnt even leave a note! Ugh! people these days either need to learn to drive, or learn to be honest!
The rims choices are: Advan RG's in gold or silver, or SSR Type C's in bronze. What do you guys think? Or any other suggestions?
Oh man inspiration right here. Ok beware I have a few questions..How much are you lowered and did you have to get a camber kit? Do you like the F&F's so far? I had a buddy that had type 1's on his hatch, the ride was great but never felt them in a lude.

Thanks man! I have the type 1's as well. As far as how much I am lowered, the tires sits flush with the fenders all the way around.
I do not have a camber kit, and the tires do wear unevenly, but I just rotate them more often.
The F&F's make the car handle like it is on rails! I had BFG KDW II's before my current tires (General Exlaim UHP's) and the car would take corners amazingly with so little effort without squealing tires. It's like the car knew exactly where to go. However, as far a ride quality goes, they are kinda bouncy because I have the stiffness set all the way to hard. I`don't mind the bounciness, but some people do. I been meaning to turn it down some, but just been lazy lately. I also have a Suspension Techniques rear sway bar, and that helps out too.
