My 96 JDM 5th Gen SiR

Hi from across the pond!

I thought i'd introduce myself and my car! My name's Will, I'm 21 and living in the UK.

Current spec as follows:
H22A with faultless Tiptronic Gearbox (touch wood! )
71,000(ish) miles
Working 4 Wheel Steering
Digital Climate Control
Carbon effect trim
JDM Corner & Parking Sensors
JDM Lip Kit
JDM Gunmetal honeycomb grille
JDM Tin-Top (no sunroof!)
JDM Electric Folding Mirrors
JDM Wind Deflectors
JDM Front + Rear Cup Holders
JDM Emergency Flare + Flare Holder
JDM Fog Lights
JDM Brushed 16" Alloys
JDM graphite/grey "Prelude" floor mats
Braided Earthing Cables
Nology Hotwires HT Leads
Japanese Alarm + Immobiliser
Japenese Handsfree Kit (which I don't know how to use! )

I'm 99% sure it's got the rare Automatic gearbox with LSD as is sticks and handles like nothing I've driven before (plus there's an 'LSD' sticker on the door shut! !

Anyway, enough talking... Let the pictures do the talking!

Since the pictures were taken the Mugen, Type-R and Acura badges have gone...

So let me know what you all think!

Thanks
Will

Car looks good. Thumbs up for removing the Acura badge though. It is a Honda and not an Acura. I do believe thats a 97 not a 96. 96 was still 4th gens. At least here in the states. I could be wrong, if I am someone correct me.

It's the same here in the UK, we didn't get the 5th gens until 97...

However as usual the japanese got things before all of us! The car was registered (in Japan) in November 1996...

I guess it must be one of the first 5th Gens ever made??

In Japan, most cars are about 6months to 1 year ahead of the states.

I could be wrong but I believe that the SiR did not come with the LSD. The SiR S-Spec did.

Looing good though!

I removed the easy ones...

Basically I removed everything 'Mugen' and all 'Acura' badges except the front and rear centers... I'm still trying to decide whether I should get some standard 'H's to go on, or to go smooth...
