I've been away for a long time here so I am not sure how much discussion there has been revolving around the GT-R. I did get to drive one for a weekend and I have to say that the thing hauls serious ass. So much that I was a little sad getting back into my Z at the end of the weekend I thought the car would feel heavy but it didn't at all. The response time was incredible off the line and before I knew it I looked down and was over 100. You would have no idea your going that fast unless you look down at the speedometer.
It does come with a lot of clunkiness and if someone didn't know much about cars they would probably be concerned there was something wrong with it. The shifting was pretty smooth for the most part and no, I didn't turn off the launch control since Nissan is looking at the black boxes closely in order to refuse warranty work if something goes wrong
I also have to say it got much attention, so my friend Beka says. I was paying more attention to the road and cars around me since I was in a 100k+ dollar car that wasn't mine
This just makes me more hungry to drive other cars that I will never be able to afford
and here is mah Z...she has 124,500 miles on her now
