Thanks! Yea this guy who I'm getting the swap off is just trying to get his RX-8 back on the road and is getting rid of everything. He's got a jrsc for sale too but I've got my hands full as it is.

It's been a busy week but I managed to get a couple parts in the mail and some shots of the interior/exterior.

More pictures sound good to me too. So the shipping company for my Seibon hood had the wrong contact number, thus leaving me without a hood that was ready for delivery this past Tuesday. Today was the 23rd day since purchase. All good though, they refunded me $50 and I sold my stock hood for $140. This JTC cooling plate won't fit right for some reason. Was almost impossible to screw the grill back on over the cooling plate, even with longer screws. Did a radiator drain and fill with Honda coolant as well as wash and wax her.

It is so close to fitting, something needs to be trimmed though.

A little info about the Seibon hood swap, the hood does not have clip holes for the rubber trim around your headlights. You'll have to loctite/superglue them on. The hood also does not have all the clip holes for your windshield wiper hoses that run on the underneath of your stock hood. Your going to have to get creative. It has no holes for the actual windshield spray nozzles to attach anywhere. The clips for both the headlight trim and windershield wiper hoses are pretty unusable after you remove the items though, I'm going to Honda today at some point for some clips, as I have the wiper hoses attached via high quality duct tape for now lol. The actual fitment and quality of this Seibon hood is 10/10. The weaving is perfect, no off weaves.

Overall I like the hood and cooling plate. I was getting a lot of people pointing at the car while I was driving yesterday. I guess I was assuming these two items were a bit more plug-n-play.

This picture was taken after I was called crazy by a local paint shop for thinking about painting my hood haha.

Took the prelude that I'll be getting the 5 speed parts for a test drive today. He has a jrsc on his lude, which made for an awesome test drive. That may be on the purchase list. Anywho, more random pics.

So today was a negotiating day with the owner of the donor prelude for my swap. We agreed on a price of $2000 for the following:

- JRSC complete kit
- New JRSC rebuild kit
- Hondata s200
- RC550 Injectors
- 5 Speed swap complete
- Energy Suspension motor mounts
- Walbro 255 fuel pump
- Larger fuel rail (unsure what brand)
- Auto Meter boost gauge

Yea you could say that. He needs the money and I need to save money, perfect match.

I picked up the supercharger kit minus the power steering bracket, pulley's, Energy Suspension motor mounts, and fuel pump. I'm doing a sort of payment plan with him for the parts to this and the 5 speed swap since I don't have $2000 laying around. Gave him $600 for what you see here and he is holding onto the above mentioned parts as collateral. If someone could tell me if I'm missing something other than those parts that'd be appreciated.

Wings West made a CF hood? Yea I am still using duct tape to hold the windshield wiper nozzles on unfortunately. I did have the Wings West RS lip kit but switched to a full OEM lip kit. That WWRS lip kit was massive, and anyone that saw my car kept referring to it as a "body kit", which made me hate it so much more haha. As for the JRSC I sold the whole kit back to the original owner in exchange for an extremely affordable complete 5 speed swap.

I'll have to add more pictures when that 5 speed goes in, basically right now I've just added a full sound system. Thanks for looking.

Well I haven't updated this in awhile it feels like. Got the hood painted last week. Left the middle section of the hood carbon fiber. Purchased a p28 ecu and oem usdm spoiler as well. I'll get pictures of the whole 5 speed swap and spoiler at a later point. Lotttts of pictures coming soon.

Thanks fella's. I paid $350 for my local guy to paint it. Next up is for me to have my dc5-R wheels painted/powdercoated.

Any color suggestions?

Big changes are coming November 12th... God is getting rid of another sissy-stick prelude.
