I had a buddy of mine do it at a tinting shop. It's like a lamin-x just not as thick to avoid any uneven "bump" feeling on the taillights where the tint starts.

I was going to VHT Nightshade the tails. Bought the can and everything, then decided not to because I know it wouldn't turn out perfectly even my first time.

I used VHT Nightshades and it actually turned out pretty well even though it was my first time.

The only thing with the spray is you can make it much darker than intended and its not easily reversable

Very anxious to see your quarter mile time. I know the pleasure of the Prelude isn't simply speed but improving your quarter mile time is always fun.

Ended up going to the track and not running my car this time. It was fun to watch though! Came back from the track and had some time to take random shots of the car.

All upgrades have been halted on this car until the 5 speed t2w4 swap and jrsc are installed.

Can't wait for the new and improved prelude though.

Tiny update...I decided to wait on the 5 speed swap for a little longer and take some weight off the car and help the auto tranny out a bit.

Purchased a braille 15lb battery to replace my 47lb stock Honda battery. I also removed and sold my OEM car jack, jack tools, and spare tire for another 33lb's worth of savings. I removed in total 55 pounds off my car pretty easily, without stripping the interior or driving on a milk crate. I have a Seibon OEM Carbon hood being shipped as we speak. I don't know if I want to paint this or not.

As far as the tranny is concerned, I have a B&M 9800 BTU cooler on the way just to keep the temperature down. Basically purchased as a preventative band-aid.

Other misc. parts that were ordered was a JTC Customs cooling plate and a Bisimoto intake manifold thermal gasket. After I get all of this nonsense bolted up to the car this week, I'll be heading to the track and running a 1/4 mile pass for the last time until the 5 speed. We'll see!

Haven't got around to buying any 5 speed parts yet. Told this guy locally to hold off for now on his parts he had for me. How much was your t2w4? Typically around $1500 from what I've seen. As low as $900 plus shipping on ebay.

I'd like the majority of the interior to stay black. After this shopping spree, I think my best bet is re-focusing the effort into 5 speed parts.

Installed the B&M tranny cooler this afternoon along with 6 quarts of Honda ATF. What a difference it made. Shifts are so much smoother, it really feels like I took 8 years off the car's life. I'll post some pictures later.

A couple pictures of the new center console and transmission cooler..

Oh and I found another local prelude owner that has my entire 5 speed swap besides a clutch for only $475 I'll be picking that stuff up in two weeks.

That console is looking sharp! Any more red JDM interior pieces going in?

Looks nice! Man I wish I could find swap parts for that low! I'd go for that in a heart beat.
