My 1997 2.2VTI Motegi..

Hi Guys.

Thought I'd join up here as I'm going to be looking for some USDM/JDM parts for my UK Lude.

I just bought it after having lots of Civics as I wanted something more powerful and comfortable and I got it very cheap as the Tiptronic Box is broken at the moment.

I have a new box sorted for it, which will be fitted soon and the wheels are off being refurbed at the moment.

Here's a few pics of it as I bought it, looking sorry for itself.
  • 2.2VTI
  • Tiptronic Box
  • Air Con
  • Cruise Control
  • 4WS
  • 17" Special Edition Alloys

And here it is in my friends driveway partially stripped down ready for some cleaning up..

Hope you all like

Cheers

Adam

I want your front lip. Sweet car. Did EDM Preludes come with smaller front brakes? They look small to me, could be wrong though. Car is very nice though. Under hood?

Hi mate.

The Lude's over here come with 282mm brakes with Single Piston calipers. Is that the same as yours?

The lips are awesome, they were standard on this model, along with the bonnet spoiler I believe. Though the lips were also an option on the UK cars but the bonnet spoiler wasn't an available option..

Added a pic of under the bonnet there too. Looks a bit sorry for itself but that will change...

You have rare Motegi badge on the trunk It's a pity that you don't have motegi seats inside but you propsbly have doorsills.
What parts are you lookin for in US you have much more JDM's in UK

I assume you're asking why I am looking for one of those lips in the US since we have more JDM stuff than the UK? That lip was EDM only... It's also my favorite by far.

Yes mate, it's a genuine Motegi car so has the badge from standard

I really want some JDM wind deflectors and an SIR honeycombe grille.
