This might be the only reason USDM fogs > JDM fogs 56k :nono:

Piaa Ion Yellow (used for about a year) pouring same amount of yellow comparing to modded yellow condom in JDM fogs. Thanks to the USDM projector foggies

Yellow condom on JDM fogs on left, Piaa Ion Yellow on USDM fogs on right.

Piaa GT-X headlights and Piaa Ion Yellow for USDM fogs. I'm too cheap for HIDs.

Question: How well do those PIAAs light up the road?

Which PIAAs?

GTX - The purpleish ones (headlights) can't light up sh!t, hence I tried the Ion Yellows <-- which put out a lot more light compared to the stock H3s.

that last picture of your garage door is neat!!

since my headlights and fogs are the same color, i can't tell the difference between having my fogs on or off

have you done a comparision to see which lights up the road better?
USDM vs JDM fogs without headlights

Projector beam patterns generally have more light output than flood patterns. But the JDM's look SOOOO much better!!

Except that blue isn't as bright as yellow. Yellow really helps the visibility.

I did it myself, I brought the wrong yellow condom. and I got the large size condom , have to custom it to fit in the fog.

I have yet to try that out, as I can't just bring up my fogs without having the headlights turned on. (Unless if I do the relay mod)

But as far as the wall shot is concerned, JDM and USDM side by side, they look about the same.

Sorry for the delayed reply. The stupid "View First Unread" link brought me too far down

Can't you just turn on your fogs by turning on the parking lights?
take a towel and plave it over the headlights in "parking light mod" to see the comparision.
at least that was my ghetto way of doing it.

i'm just curious to know if anyone has actually park side by side with a lexus IS to see if there is any color difference between the yellow modded fogs.

I love my USDM fogs! Nowadays, they are more rare than the JDM's! I think the JDM's might look better in the daylight when no lights are on, but I LOVE the "staggered" look of the USDM's at night. I have Phillips Bluevision's in my headlights and fogs and love it! Looks very European!

I must see your headlights. I'm thinking of picking up some for my car. I have no highbeams right now.
