I don't think they look that bad, but they do somewhat resemble steels when you paint them black. Then again most black wheels look like steels.

I like it. I would put on clear sidemarkers/JDM fogs to complete the effect. And where are your center caps? Get those painted black except for the H. I always like painted stock rims on EGP. After that you would be complete. But yea nice man, good work

NO CLEAR SIDEMARKERS!!
It looks great.
Paint your centercaps, and if you can, get the 'H' white.

the rims look good ... matches well with your car color
i like how you have black lugs too.
now all you need are some center caps and you're all set.

maybe you should do a blackhousing headlight mod next.

got any more pics?

would bronze base wheels on that color be ugly? i have the same color and i was thinking about doing a bronze color. Not so much gold more like a darker bronze.

that would look weird IMO. for that color, i would pick silver, black, or gunmetal for wheels..I've seen EGP with those and they look nice.

IMO you either love it or you hate it. Unfortunately we are at opposite ends =/

Well- I'm not sure what you're saying here =P It does resemble steelies in the nature of them both being a color black, however these are rims and steelies, well are steelies =)

Yes!!! I couldnt agree with you more. I had clears on before, and i took them off (with a little help from AlphaJesse giving me advice). I ran over one of my center caps so I think I might go buy one and just paint them pure black... Not sure on that one.

I considered bronze - I think they would look real good bronze. Dark bronze that is =)

For some strange reason I can't seem to get these pictures on here. go to www.geocities.com/rusty41324/car.html to see the other pictures. Can you not post pictures that arnt hosted by preludeonline? It's automatically putting www.preludeonline.com before my link...

The upload photo button doesn't work if that is what you were trying.
Edit the post and remove the 'www.preludeonline.com' part but I think geocities would block it anyhow.

Were there two greens for 5th gens? Yours seems more 'blue' than the green 5th gens I've seen in person.

doesn't look bad...i'm not to into the front grill thing you got going on, but to each his own. i think you should paint the base sides/rear and get a front lip (either type S or OEM) and them slam that thing to the ground

Painted base rims are very nice, I did mine in gaphite metallic, gunmetal and they look good. Your EGP looks more blue than mine, wierd, maybe it's just the picts.

Definately do it - However once you do it you can't go back to stock because you have to sand it. You can always paint over it and change the color from black to gunmetal to bronze or whatever you wish but you can never go back to stock. I love mine and I would suggest to you in confidence to definately paint them. I can help you out with the process if you'd like.
