Idk if its ok to just post scenic pics. So ill throw in some car ones to. But the city is having a photo contest and the theme is water. These are what i got today

From a photography aspect, I dont like any of them at all...
I agree, #10 is decent but the rest are just blah. Also, you know if the theme is water there's gonna be 8 million people hat use the charleston bridge. I suggest you do something else.
yeah. im sure the bridge will be shot so many times that that shot wont win. ive got about a month more to keep at it. what do you think i can do to improve any? scenery?
The sky is grey in all of them (ew), there is no composition, no creativity. Oh and the Editing sucks (get me a full size of the 2 you like best and if you dont mind, i'll edit them), they all seem to be really flat and have no "pop" to the photo.
P.s. I'm not meaning to be rude.

It's a city contest? Where da peoples at? You guys obviously have some nice waterfront areas in town, go there on a pretty day with some people out. The city looks dead (and i'm guessing part of the contest prize is they used your photo for advertising, etc.)
On a side note, you guys have some kick arse stuff there. Where is this? I'm packing my crap tonight.
