if the pics dont work here is a link to my imagestation album. http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4287952775
the bodykit is a ViS octane front bumper modified to fit stock turn signals and fog lights...and yea i realize i should get jdm fogs. sides and rears r mugen replicas.
Damn dude your hood fits like crap. Do you have 4 hood pins on there?
I think it would look good if the sides and rear hung lower. From the pictures it seems like the front is much lower than those mugen sides/rears that you're running.
thats the best fitting octane i've ever seen...modifying it to put the stock turn signals was a great idea, it looks awesome. And you fit the grill it there too! anyway overall it the front looks good, i can't tell from the pics but the mugen might not be low enough to match with the octane..but i dunno ...
PS. whats up with the hood?

u guys r right, it doesnt match up. then again i never really looked. it doesnt really bother me too much. i needed that bumper so i can fit an FMIC. and yea the hood fits like crap although especially in that shot as the hood isnt latched down. either way a new hood is on the way. getting a ViS XGT hood.
Yah dude no offense or anything but your hood fitting is not snug. I do not have hood pins but my VIS fits perfectly. Might be a safety issue for you, try fixing it.

its not worth fixing as i have a new one from ViS waiting to be delivered. im the hood u see in the pics and cutting it up to make panels or plates or something. i dont really care about it, just garbage at this point. and its not a safety issue. i put in the pins on the outer edges to hold the hood down. the ones in the middle are locks that i never bothered to finish installing. i was originally going to remove the stock latch and just use those 4 points to hold the hood down. the locks so that no one can just open the hood. but again...i know its crappy and its being replaced.

i think what they did was both cut and add fiberglass to the bumper. the vents that were originally there were close in shape to the stock turns and fogs but were a little too large. so im assuming that they just closed off what was left open and removed whatever to make it flush. i also closed on the vents on the sides right in front of the wheels in which case they just added material.
if you are ever taking pictures again i would appreciate seeing straight on shots from the front (at a lower angle) so we can see how large the openings are
my greddy lip is pretty broken, and the only thing keeping me from switching to an octane instead of getting another greddy lip is the thought of losing my jdm fogs
what openings? all i have left is the front mouth. everything else was closed off or taken up by the stock turns and fogs. if u want to know what the bumper looked like to begin with check the ViS website. this is an octane front bumper.
oh i meant i wanna see where ur openings were before... where the fogs and the signals are now... so that i can compare it to my friend's octane bumper in person
*shrug*
if u mean the vents before i modified it then i dont have any of those pics. i do have pics of the bumper post modification without the turns and fogs in place. the bumper wasnt sprayed at that point either. is that what ur looking for? i can show u those.

Damn if I was going to put money into my lude I would have done that with my front but I didn't want to spend all that money jsut for blinkers and fogs. Maybe if I feel like blowing money I will but we'll see. Very nice.
Who did the job and how much did just the front bumper work cost if you doo't mind me asking?

i dont remember who made the hood. it was like 2 years old and there werent many companies that had it. bought in a rush cause i got into a front end collision...really a 5mph bump. but it damaged my stock hood pretty bad so i just got that. get a ViS hood or fiberimages. i have a new ViS waiting to be delivered. ill post pics when i get it. brackets were cut out of the stock bumper and i guess molded into the octane bumper. not sure as to how they did it as i gave them the bumper and next time i visited it was like that. but more than likely it was just fiberglassed on. as for price...i dunno how much it wouldve cost for just the front bumper. the front, side and rear wouldve costed me $2500. thats modding the front bumper like u see, molding the rears to the rear bumper and molding the side skirts into the sills behind the door but not onto the fender and quarters. i had them do that and respray the entire car with nighthawk black...which i think they added more blue pearl than it used to...which cost me a total of $3500.
