Im trying to find a thread...

Well someone posted a thread about their 4th gen red prelude and how it was fading and what they did to restore it. The results were very impressive and I didnt save it or anything and now my 5th gen is fading and looking like crap so I thought it might be a good way to find it. I spent about an hour so far looking and searching so if anyone remembers this thread send me the link...BTW it was a couple months ago I believe and he did the detail himself and the paint ended up looking like new.

the red on my roof, trunk, and mirrors fades alot... What I do is wash, then do a complete clay bar, then use an orbital to compound (3M Fine Rubbing Compound) then buff. Then use the orbital to glaze (Zymol Concours Glaze) then buff. Then finally use orbital to wax (Zymol or Meguiars) then buff.

That gets it very very red again...
