ok this is my lude and first off i know all you jdm purist will hate me cuz of the whaletail as you call it , its cool and dont think i hate tha jdm, cuz im rockin a jdm swapped h22a in my lude and love my jdm, but all i hear is hate from the carbon fiber spoiler and how i should go mugen spoiler or type s, i hate some goddy ass sh$! and big body kits but this wing for some reason was a must for me, thats all i got to say bout that sh$!, so anyone from the OKC area let me know, id like some more friends who sport tha lude
Looks like quite a concoction of eBay parts there. I am not fond of anything you have done to your car, but it is yours. Sorry man, everything looks very cheap and tacky. As a friend of mine used to say, if you like it, you like it :P

its cool to each his own, and nothing from ebay actually i know ppl also hate the ccfl lights too like i said this forum is full of a bunch of purist and thats why i was afraid of joining...... but eh they are what they are, ive got a right hand drive gsr as well, but thats another project on its own
ur car is missing something....maybe a front lip or the mugen bumper might make it look more complete but thats upto u.... how bout some pics of that gsr
ive got a mugen bumper its not the real deal so i want to get rid of it for a lip, but cant find anyone willing to trade, its still brand new never been intalled
I must be one of those "purists" you mentioned, Im very glad that the prelude forums have more purists than ricers, stay a while and maybe our purity will rub off on your ride.

i like them alot, i would recommend getting 2 sets of hids, the projector kinda sucks unless you tweak them, but i love the ccfls, while other ppl have *** led lights your rockin the same technology as BMWs do, love it
ohh and as for you i love my bb6, man i hope your not insinuating that im a ricer, cuz ive got a jdm swapped h22a in my lude w/ type s pistons, cam and skunk 2 valveterain, and i run a very respectable 14.4 in the 1/4 mile, trappin at 101.2 mph, i believe in making the car to how you like, thats where the to each his own phrase came from, i dont have anything rice on my car, nothing is cheap on my car, you know if you want high standards then fine guess you aint **** unless you can hang or tramp an LS1, im just trying to get some hints, tricks and help at some things and might i add VERY few ppl car to lend a hand, but oh god forbid a totally stock lude comes along a new member that is, you all jump on board and say my you have a nice lude dear, so sick, wow love it, its like wtf the dude just bought it and he gets props, but as for others not so much, anyway call it what you will, im suprised im still on here.......

yah they are worth it, find a company called EAGLE EYE(S) they are a great company, fast shipping and they stand behing their product, and yes one set for the lows in the projectors, and one for the highs, makes it really easy to see, atleast for me, look into xentec on ebay im a wholesaler for them and i can get kits shipped, brackets and all, any color and size bulb for 32.00, which comes w/ a one year warranty, amazing deal if you ask me

I don't understand your argument. So you are not a ricer because you have done work to your motor?
I have seen hideous CRX's, Integras, etc around here with BUILT LS/VTEC turbos and ITR swaps, with nasty molded on body kits, mismatched body panels (both in color and alignment), and an unnecessary array of glow kits and huge wings that hardly help performance. Remember that super riced out Supra from Fast N The Furious? Wasn't it a 10 second car?
You do realize that you have a front wheel drive car right? That huge wing you have is adding downforce to the wrong end of the car, effectively reducing traction up front! In theory, in a road racing environment, it could be beneficial, but you need downforce up front as well. Otherwise, you are killing your cars performance for the sake of some twisted aesthetic<---That to me is the epitome of a ricer.
Honda did a phenomenal job designing its cars. Unfortunately, a lot of the coolest stuff was not available to us in the US from Honda. I don't feel that it is necessary to radically "enhance" their appearance. I appreciate clean, simple, understated beauty, whether it be cars, music, and art in general.
I am not really into drag racing, but my little 88 STD hatch ran a 12.9 quarter mile on street tires and would kick major ass on a road course, all without gaudy pompous crap:

Just post your car, spit your story on how you got and her what youve done, and leave it at that. Just be proud of her, and let her looks reflect that.
btw, that wing is actually usefull. If you ever get into a collision, you can rip that off and set it in the grass: TA-DAH! Park bench for you and your passengers while you wait for emergency services..... lol.
Oh, and a concluding bit of advice. Try not to use so many word short cuts and such. Save that stuff for texting your honey, it actually serves a purpose there. I wasnt tying to hate on the so called "purists", i aim to one day have such a clean car as some of these guys on here, i look at their rides and admire all the work,time, and craftsmanship of all, but wakaranai, beautiful ef, love the paint, stance, and of course the b series powerhouse, and looks like im seein some gsr seats in their as well? But guys no hate just love coming from me hope i can start making friends on here and gettin some help w/ lulu, and yah i named my car lulu, lol, as soon as i find someone w/ a good carbon fiber trunk ill get it or trade mine off w/ the park bench as well, lol

Thanks for the props (to all). It was a very fun car until I bottomed out in a construction zone and ripped a huge hole in the transmission case--I decided to sell it and start another project. The EF had 89 Civic Si seats in it. IMO, the some of the best Honda seats ever made

lol after the op responded to my post I went back to the pics and I have to say I see countless examples of rice all over the poor car IMO. Very sad to see. That spoiler.....God that spoiler, I guess the op missed the memo that spoilers dont do dick on FWD cars
